SPREADING POSITIVITY

 SPREADING POSITIVITY

'Asato Maa Sadgamaya, Tamaso Maa Jyotiragamaya'
~ Brihadaranyaka Upanishad ~

The above shloka means: Lead me from untruth to the truth, lead me from darkness to light. Here, light refers to positivity and dark symbolizes negativity.

Being positive is one of the main mantras of life. It makes us cheerful and happy. People like being with us. Positivity emits out a light of wisdom and cheerfulness. We ourselves have a jovial mood the whole time. No matter how dark it may be, but we can always find a solution to every problem by looking at the positive side of life.

History has brought us many examples where being positive has helped the most.

1) Mahatma Gandhi never quitted as he had self confidence which comes when you are positive.

2) It is known that our old scriptures wrote about a story that removes all darkness and brings light into our life.

3) In an old book, a dialogue between sage Yajnavalkya and King Janaka is mentioned. After some talks and dialogues, King Janaka asked the sage that if the sun and moon have set, the fire is gone out and the speech is silenced then, what serves as a light for a man? Then the sage replied that the inner self is the pure awareness and lights the man from within if the man thinks positive.

HOW TO BE POSITIVE?

1) Read positive thoughts that inspire you.
  • 'You do not find a happy life. You make it.'
  • 'If you are positive, you'll see opportunities instead of obstacles.'
2) Identify your negative points and change them.

3) Surround yourself with positive people.

4) The best way I keep myself positive is by helping people.

So, if you want people to like you, you need to be positive. A positive man is a magnet of love and cheerfulness. So sought out the positivity from negativity and go on with the flow of life.
